In Game of Love, Dad Played Mace of Hearts

Some people will break your heart, and others will have have their parents take it out on you.

A man in Lake Forest apparently found out the hard way his ex-girlfriend's father was none too pleased with him.

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, an attack was alleged to have taken place Thursday near Pittsford Park.

The informant called 9-1-1 and said he had just been maced, and was desperately attempting to take out his contacts while on the line with the operator.

According to the informant, the man who maced him was the father of a girl the informant had broken up with. Apparently, the situation could have been worse: The informant thought the father had a taser with him as well because he heard its electronic crackle not long before he was sprayed.

After authorities arrived, neither party desired prosecution.

The call was made Thursday, 8:59 p.m., from Pittsford and Lake Forest Drive.
