Lion Cub Found Injured In OC On Way To Recovery: Report

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A mountain lion cub left with a skull fracture and severe head and eye trauma after being hit by a car in Orange County earlier this year is making a sharp recovery in San Diego, The Orange County Register reported.

The male cub was around four months old when he was found on the side of a county road in January, the report said. He was treated by the Serrano Animal & Bird Hospital in Lake Forest before being transferred to the San Diego Humane Society's Wildlife Center in Ramona.
