Missing South OC Man Found Dead In Car

The 53-year-old Irvine man was reported missing Sunday and was armed with a handgun, police said.

IRVINE, CA — A missing man was found dead in his vehicle in Orange County Monday, authorities said.

Jianhua ShangGuan left his home at 5 a.m. Saturday in a silver Toyota RAV4, according to the Irvine Police Department.

Initial reports determined his phone and wallet were left at home, but one of his handguns was missing.

ShangGuan was found dead in his vehicle on Monday, March 24, the IPD reported.
