IRVINE, CA — A Hawthorne man was charged for human trafficking after Orange County Trafficking Task Force agents found him with a 17-year-old girl who was reported missing on April 28.

Alex Polidore, 23, was arrested and booked into Anaheim Police Department's Detention Facility for a parole violation and several human trafficking-related offenses this week, according to Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer.

Polidore was arrested this week after the 17-year-old Irvine girl was reported missing from her home in April, with police saying she was possibly being exploited for purposes of "commercialized sex," Spitzer said.
