In-N-Out To Shut Down OC Headquarters After 30 Years

The quintessential California food chain announced its plans to open new headquarters in LA County and Tennessee.

IRVINE, CA — In-N-Out Burger announced plans to move its corporate headquarters back to where the business began more than 75 years ago.

The company said it will move its home office from Irvine, in Orange County to Baldwin Park in the San Gabrial Valley, by 2029, according to a news release.

According to the release, In-N-Out founder Harry Snyder opened his first burger stand at Francisquito and Garvey avenues in Baldwin Park in 1948. The business has been headquartered in Irvine since the mid-'90s.

"In every decision about the future of In-N-Out Burger, I give strong consideration to what my grandparents and my family would think is best for our company," Lynsi Snyder, granddaughter and owner of the company, said in the release. "I know my family would be in support of this move because it brings our In-N-Out family back together in a way that helps us better serve our Customers, who are the most important priority."

The majority of the company's corporate staff wil either work at the new Baldwin Park office or in Franklin, Tennessee, where plans for a new "Eastern territory" office are underway, according to the release.

The company also announced plans to open several dozen locations in Tennessee in the coming years, Retail Wire reported.

"Some of our Associates will be relocating to Tennessee, which makes it even more important to centralize our western headquarters in one location, and our company’s deepest roots are inBaldwin Park," said Lynsi Snyder. "Our West Coast family will be together in one place, where In-N-Out Burger began."
