OC Library Assault Suspect Freed On Bail, Arrested Again
The man suspected of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting another girl at Target in 2021.
IRVINE, CA — A 53-year-old man free on bail after allegedly exposing himself to a 9-year-old girl and assaulting her at a library in Irvine was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in a Target store in Irvine in 2021, authorities said Wednesday.
Christopher Eduard was arrested Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles in connection with a sexual battery of an 11-year-old girl inside the Target store at 13200 Jamboree Road on May 24, 2021, according to Irvine Police Department Sgt. Karie Davies.
Eduard was arrested Friday near his home for allegedly exposing himself to a 9-year-old girl and assaulting her at the Orange County Public Library Heritage Park Regional Branch at 13261 Yale Ave. on March 21, according to Irvine police Lt. Bill Bingham.
