IRVINE, CA — The Orange County Soccer Club in Irvine is teaming up with the Fullerton-based punk rock band Social Distortion to launch a merchandise line to benefit charity.

The two are launching a line of Official League apparel co-branded with the two organizations' logos. Social Distortion's Skelly icon will have a soccer ball rather than a martini glass, and the band's logo will say Orange County Soccer Club instead, according to a spokesperson for both groups.

Proceeds from sales of the apparel line will go toward Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, the spokesperson said.
