Orange County's Rancho Days Fiesta Returns In May

LAKE FOREST, CA — OC Parks and the County of Orange are inviting people to go back in time on May 7 to Heritage Hill Historical Park to relive the area's rancho era.

The Lake Forest park will host the annual Rancho Days Fiesta, which will feature family-friendly activities, music and dancing, OC Parks officials said.

Rancho Days Fiesta will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parking and attendance for the event will be free.

The event will feature performances and demonstrations, including "Charro horse riding and roping demonstrations, along with Native American and Folklórico dancing," OC Parks said. Amigos de La Colina docents will also lead tours of historic buildings at the park.

"We are excited to bring another year of learning and fun to our community with Rancho Days Fiesta at Heritage Hill Historical Park," Orange County Supervisor Don Wagner said. "This annual event is a great opportunity for people of all ages to learn and celebrate Orange County’s vast history."
