Rat-Infested Home Sparks Resident Complaints In OC Neighborhood: Report

IRVINE, CA — A South Orange County home is under fire after complaints from neighboring residents of a rat infestation, KTLA 5 reported.

The home, located on Typee Way in Irvine, has been garnering complaints from neighbors who have noticed a surge in rat sightings, as well as bad smell emitting from the home.

"We see them everywhere," resident Amanda Peng told KTLA. "When I'm walking the dog...even when you walk around the corner there's a really bad smell."

According to the report, the three residents living in the house have not been home for some time due to being hospitalized.
