Here's a schedule of Independence Day events at Lake Forest II: 9 a.m. Basketball and volleyball signups 10 a.m.: Doors and gates open 10:30 a.m.: Basketball and volleyball tournaments begin 11 a.m.: Concessions and adult refreshment sales 12 p.m.: Water wars, giant slides and games area opens 12:30 p.m.: Band: Johnny Oskam 2 p.m.: Franklin Haynes Puppet Show 3 p.m.: Band: Adam's Attic 3:30 p.m.: Abbit the Average magician 6 p.m.: Band: Instant Replay 8 p.m.: Pools, games, concessions and adult refreshments close9 p.m.: All gates close; National Anthem sung by Kim Beaney 9:10 p.m.: Fireworks There is no entry once the gates are closed.
