Shake Shack To Make OC Debut With New Irvine Location

IRVINE, CA — A new burger joint is coming to town, after Shake Shack announced its first Orange County location to open in 2023 at the Irvine Spectrum Center, with more Shake Shacks expected to open across the county in the future.

“We are so excited to bring Shake Shack to Orange County,” Andrew McCaughan, Chief Development Officer at Shake Shack, said in a news release. “We see Orange County as a huge opportunity for the company and we can’t wait to serve our delicious burgers and shakes to the community.”

The New York City-based eatery is famous for serving elevated versions of American classics by using only the freshest ingredients, and is well-known for its made-to-order Angus beef burgers, hand-spun milkshakes and house-made lemonades.

According to a company news release, Shake Shack has two more Orange County locations planned in Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach. The Huntington Beach Shake Shack will also have a drive-thru, the release said.

"Irvine Spectrum has been a great partner for our first Orange County Shake Shack, and we are looking forward to growing our presence in the market," McCaughan said.

The Irvine Spectrum Shake Shack is expected to open this summer, and more details were expected to be revealed as the debut date approaches.
