UC Irvine Finds Home For Its New Art Museum: Report
The Jack and Shanaz Langson Institute and Museum of California Art will house exhibitions highlighting artwork from across the state.

IRVINE, CA — Officials at the University of California, Irvine have settled on where to build the Jack and Shanaz Langson Institute and Museum of California Art, the Orange County Register reported.
The museum will be on the northern portion of Irvine's campus, off of Campus Drive and Jamboree Road near the San Joaquin Marsh Reserve, the Register reported.
Kim Kantani, the museum's director, told the Register it was important the museum be built near nature as it "resonates" with the more than 3,000 pieces of California artwork.
