Batman Returns (1992)
Saturday, Jan. 14 - HBO2 - 4:45 p.m.
Tim Burton's Batman Returns possesses all the quintessential dark whimsy that is Burton's signature cinematography and is the first live-action screen time that the character Catwoman, Batman's longstanding love interest, has received since the 1960s Batman television series in which Catwoman was played, on separate occasions, by actresses Eartha Kitt and Julie Newmar. Burton's Catwoman, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, employs a sensuality more comparable to the personification delivered by Kitt. The film introduces Max Shreck, played by Christopher Walken, a corrupt business tycoon who teams up with the Penguin (Danny DeVito) in order to take over Gotham City. Batman Returns also stars Michael Keaton as the titular character, Michael Gough as Batman/Bruce Wayne's longtime butler, Alfred Pennyworth, and Pat Hingle as Commissioner James Gordon.

Freaky Friday (2003)
Cox Communications On Demand
The Fresh Prince said it best: "Parents just don't understand."
Or so is the notion perpetuated by 15-year-old Anna Coleman (Lindsay Lohan), who switches bodies with her mother, Tess Coleman (Jamie Lee Curtis), due to a mysterious fortune cookie. The film, which generated more than $160 million on a $20 million budget, was Disney's second remake of the 1976 film of the same name, which starred Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster as mother and daughter, respectively. Freaky Friday offers lessons in compassion and empathy, while exploring the intricacies and beauty of the relationship between a mother and her daughter.
