Yeah, But What About The Snake?

Apartment dwellers get quite a sight at their front door.

You work as a law enforcement official long enough and you probably see just about everything.

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, one of those indelible moments in an officer's career apparently took place on Memorial Day.

A caller asked for police assistance regarding a woman walking through the Westridge Apartments about 10 a.m. She was wearing a red nightgown and was screaming, yelling and knocking on the doors of other residents.

And that's not the weird part.

She also had a snake around her neck, which would make most yell and scream.

A call history showed the woman does have mental issues. She was transported to Saddleback Hospital for evaluation.

There was no indication what happened to the living necklace she was wearing.

This report was culled from the Orange County Sheriff's website. Not all facts in each report are made public; the outcome of the report, as well as the facts, may differ from the original blotter item. All items are alleged to have occurred. There should be no assumption of guilt based on this limited information.
