Police Investigate Monday Fatal Shooting In San Diego
The victim was found with a gunshot wound to his chest in the Grantville neighborhood, the San Diego Police Department said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A homicide investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed in the Grantville neighborhood Monday.
Just before 6 a.m. Monday, officers reported to San Diego Mission Road, near Twain Avenue, according to the San Diego Police Department.
When officers arrived at the scene, a man was found with a gunshot wound to his chest, according to the SDPD.

The victim was rushed to a hospital where he died shortly after, according to authorities.
The SDPD's Homicide unit was investigating the fatal shooting.
