Students explore America's 250th birthday by writing about a signer of the Declaration of Independence.

📜 Students in grades 5–8 are invited to participate in the DAR American History Essay Contest. In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, this year’s theme asks: If you could share lunch with a signer of the Declaration of Independence, who would you choose and why?
🏆 Prizes:
- One $100 winner per grade (5th, 6th, 7th, 8th)
- One $50 runner-up per grade
- Winners receive a pin & certificate
- All participants receive a certificate
