Caltrans To Close Caldecott Tunnel Bore For 3 Consecutive Nights

The overnight closures are slated to take place on the westbound No. 3 bore through the tunnel.

CONTRA COSTA AND ALAMEDA COUNTIES, CA — Caltrans has scheduled overnight closures of the westbound No. 3 bore on state Highway 24 through the Caldecott Tunnel for three consecutive nights next week.

The temporary closure for maintenance work takes place nightly from 10 p.m. until 4:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23, Tuesday, Oct. 24, and Wednesday, Oct. 25.

The remaining two eastbound bores and one westbound bore remain open during the nightly work, according to Caltrans.
