CHP Investigates Fatal Crash On Highway 24 In Orinda
One of the drivers was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his car, the California Highway Patrol said.

LAMORINDA, CA — Authorities were investigating whether DUI was a factor in a fatal crash Friday morning on state Highway 24 in Orinda.
The collision involving a blue Ford Flex and a red Toyota Corolla was reported at 8:24 a.m. on eastbound SR-24 at Wilder Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All eastbound lanes were blocked, prompting a sig-alert for the roadway. Eastbound traffic was backed up through the tunnel, and cars were diverted to the Wilder Road offramp.
