UPDATE: Highway 24 Multi-Car Crash Blocks All Lanes
Lanes now reopened after 9 a.m. crash involving at least five vehicles on Highway 24 near Camino Pablo, CHP says.

Lanes on state Highway 24 in Orinda have reopened after a crash involving multiple vehicles this morning blocked all eastbound lanes for about an hour, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It was reported at 8:53 a.m. that at least five vehicles crashed on the highway near Camino Pablo, CHP Officer Ron Simmons said.

Debris and the crashed vehicles blocked all four eastbound lanes and the CHP issued a Sig-alert at 9:17 a.m. to advise that the lanes were closed.
At 9:53 a.m., the Sig-alert was lifted and the lanes were reopened.

No information was immediately available about possible injuries in the crash, Simmons said.

ORINDA - A crash involving multiple vehicles in Orinda has blocked all lanes on eastbound state Highway 24 this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It was reported at 8:53 a.m. that at least five vehicles crashed on the highway near Camino Pablo, CHP Officer Ron Simmons said.
Fire and medical crews are at the scene, but no information was immediately available about possible injuries, Simmons said.
The CHP issued a Sig-alert at 9:17 a.m. to advise that all eastbound lanes of the highway were closed.
At 9:45 a.m., Simmons said it was unclear when the lanes would reopen.
