Lafayette Child Psychologist Arrested on Suspicion of Having Child Pornography

Kenneth Allen Breslin was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility with bail set at $200,000.

LAFAYETTE, CA — Investigators arrested a 68-year-old child psychologist in Lafayette today on suspicion of possessing child pornography, according to the Contra Costa County district attorney's office.

Members of the county's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Kenneth Allen Breslin at his home on Moraga Boulevard in Lafayette, where they found "a significant quantity" of child pornography on
his computers and electronic storage devices, according to prosecutors.

Officers also searched Breslin's office in Orinda where he operates a practice called "A Child's Point of View" and found additional files containing child pornography, prosecutors said. It's too early in the investigation to know if any of Breslin's underage clients are also victims, said Senior Deputy District Attorney Paul Graves.
