LAMORINDA, CA — Police in Lafayette investigating thefts at a local school allegedly uncovered a pattern of burglaries across the Bay Area by the same suspect, the department said Monday.

Earlier this month, someone entered two schools in Lafayette and stole multiple credit cards, according to police. Detectives eventually identified a possible suspect and his vehicle, which then led them to allegedly connecting him to burglaries in seven other cities and counties.

Lafayette detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect for alleged credit card fraud, identity theft, and burglary.
