Local Costcos Will Keep Offering Senior Hours: See Store List

As coronavirus cases rise, Costco decides to keep its senior hours for two days each week.

EAST BAY, CA — Costco Wholesale has decided to continue offering special hours for seniors to keep them safe as the number of coronavirus cases rise. Seniors can continue shopping during exclusive hours two days each week: Tuesday and Thursday.

The company initially planned to stop senior hours but opted to offer it for guests as the delta variant cases grow across the U.S.

Costco Wholesale has the following East Bay locations:

  • Antioch: 2201 Verne Roberts Circle
  • Concord: 2400 Monument Blvd.
  • Danville: 3150 Fostoria Way
  • Fremont: 43621 Pacific Commons Blvd.
  • Hayward: 28505 Hesperian Blvd.
  • Hayward: 22330 Hathaway AVE. (Business Center)
  • Livermore: 2800 Independence Dr.
  • Richmond: 4801 Central Ave.
  • San Leandro: 1900 Davis St.

Hours for seniors or anyone with disabilities are 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

"Only club members 60 and older, people with disabilities and immunocompromised shoppers will be admitted during those hours," AARP reports.

Costco members who work in health care or as first responders can also shop during these hours with proper identification.
