Lafayette Pedestrian Safety On The Agenda At An Open House
City Teams will be on hand tonight to answer questions about plans for the Lafayette Connect pathways at School Street and Topper Lane.
LAMORINDA, CA — City staff will be on hand tonight at an open house to discuss designs for the Connecting Lafayette pathways along School Street and Topper Lane, intended to improve safety and comfort for pedestrians, including students walking or biking to Stanley Middle School and Lafayette Elementary School.
The project team has been working on the engineering and landscape aspects of the Connecting Lafayette project to finalize a design by winter and begin construction in the summer.
Residents can look at plans for each of the two streets and discuss them with the civil engineering and landscape architecture teams.
