Moraga Advises Of Delays, Brief Road Closures As 13 Streets Resurfaced

This week's construction project was the first of the Town's "Worst Street First" residential pavement program on 22 streets.

MORAGA, CA — The Town of Moraga advised of roadway delays and brief road closures this week as the street resurfacing project continued.

The Town reached the halfway mark Friday toward completion of the 2022-2024 Pavement Rehabilitation Project. On Monday, the Town’s contractor was scheduled to start Rubberized Chip and Microsurfacing sealing 13 roadway segments. The Town mailed construction notices to some 1,600 residents, the contractor hand-distributed notices, and "No Parking" barricades were posted.

This week, rubberized chip sealing was scheduled to take place Monday on the roadways listed below; to be followed by micro-surfacing sealing on Wednesday:

  • Campolindo Drive, from Corte Mateo to Corte de Rosas
  • Via Granada, from Quintas Lane to Corte de Sol
  • Rheem Boulevard, from Scofield Drive to 335 Rheem Blvd.
  • Kimberley Drive, from Scofield Drive to End
  • Donald Drive, from 1762 Donald Drive to 2016 Donald Drive
  • Devin Drive, from El Paraiso Court to Moraga Road
  • Fernwood Dr, from 197 Fernwood Drive to Birchwood Drive

On Tuesday, rubberized chip sealing was scheduled to take place on the roadways listed below; to be followed by micro-surfacing sealing on Thursday:

  • Fernwood Drive, from Belfair Place to Willow Springs Lane
  • Lynwood Place, from Corliss to Greenfield
  • Camino Ricardo, from Corliss to Greenfield
  • Camino Ricardo, from Moraga Way to Hardie Drive
  • Viader Drive, from Country Club to Moraga Way
  • Camino Pablo, from 1850 Camino Pablo to 2101 Camino Pablo
