"Moraga Night Out" Scheduled For Sunday Evening
The event is designed to help residents prepare for emergencies
Sunday night will be a good night to hang out in Moraga.
The Moraga Citizens Corps Council is hosting the 2013 Moraga Night Out on Sunday evening.
Residents are encouraged to gather with neighbors to discuss emergency preparedness as well as meet with local officials and emergency personnel.
The festivities can begin at any time and people can plan potlucks, barbecues, ice cream socials or other types of get-togethers.
The event is designed to strengthened communities by having neighborhoods prepared for emergencies and disasters.
