New Recycling Cans Placed In Downtown Orinda
City purchases five new containers with money from recycling grant
Five new recycling cans now sit in the downtown Orinda area.
Late last week, city officials placed the five containers near existing trash cans.
The goal is to encourage residents to recycle more of their trash.
The cans were purchased with funds from the Beverage Container Recycling Grant the city receives every year.
