Orinda Earthquake-Proofing Project To Impact Traffic

ORINDA, CA — Traffic is expected to be impacted over the next two weeks as crews work on seismic retrofitting of the Miner Road bridge over San Pablo Creek and Bear Creek Road over San Pablo Creek, the city of Orinda said Monday.

The public should anticipate lane closures and periodic delays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays during the weeks of Aug. 7 and Aug. 14. as equipment and materials are loaded and unloaded.

When traffic control flaggers are present, drivers should follow their directions, city officials said.
