Orinda Police Department Hosting Holiday Toy Drive

The toys are for the Contra Costa County Family Justice Center, which served nearly 4,000 children last year.

ORINDA, CA — A holiday toy drive is underway at the Orinda Police Department.

The toys are for the Contra Costa County Family Justice Center, a nonprofit that serves families and individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse and human trafficking.

In 2023, the Family Justice Center served 4,961 families and 3,679 children from its centers in Richmond, Concord, Antioch and Fairfield.

Community members who want to participate can bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child of any age to the police department at 22 Orinda Way.

The deadline for donations is Dec. 19.
