Smoke Advisory: Moraga-Orinda Fire District Conducts Prescribed Burn

LAMORINDA, CA — The Moraga-Orinda Fire District planned to conduct another in a series of prescribed burns Wednesday off Bear Creek Road.

Firefighters were fixing to burn piled material along the roadway as part of the maintenance program for the North Orinda Shaded Fuel Break, the fire district said.

"Residents in Sleepy Hollow may see or smell smoke in the area," the district said. "Please reduce your speed and drive carefully on Bear Creek Road during the project."
