This Year’s Theme
In celebration of America’s upcoming 250th birthday in 2026, students are asked: If you could share lunch with one signer of the Declaration of Independence, who would you choose, and how did they help shape our nation’s independence?
Prizes and Recognition
Each grade level — 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th — will have one winner who receives $100, a DAR pin, and a certificate of recognition. One runner-up in each grade will be awarded $50 and a certificate.
