Tonight In Lamorinda: DeSaulnier Hosting Town Hall On Climate Change
The in-person event includes a time for live questions from the audience.
LAMORINDA, CA — U.S. Rep. Mark DeSaulnier is hosting an in-person Environmental and Climate Change Town Hall tonight in Lamorinda.
The event is from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Aug. 31, in Founders Auditorium at the Orinda Community Center, 28 Orinda Way.
DeSaulnier— a Democrat from Concord who represents most of Contra Costa County and part of Alameda County — will provide updates on the impact of climate change, including on natural disasters and water security, and Democrats’ work in Congress to combat the climate crisis and create good-paying jobs in a clean energy economy. He will also take audience questions live.
