Work Continues Along San Pablo Dam Road Through Nov. 16.

ORINDA, CA — Contra Costa County Public Works Department is continuing its work along San Pablo Dam Road this week.
The work, which consists of clearing slides and cleaning drainage ditches for winter storm preparation and safety, began Nov. 1, CCCPW said in a news release.
Work will continue through Thursday, November 16, 2023, barring unforeseen circumstances, CCCPW said.

Work on the roadway will occur between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, weather permitting, on San Pablo Dam Road between Tri Lane in El Sobrante and Wildcat Canyon Road/Bear Creek Road in Orinda.
"Message boards will be posted to advise drivers before scheduled work begins. Traffic control, including lane and shoulder closures, will be used," CCCPW said.

Drivers should expect delays up to 15 minutes near the work area.
