Cool for School
The public is invited to tour Neil Cummins Elementary School on Tuesday and Wednesday for a meeting to discuss the challenges facing the Larkspur-Cote Madera School District.
The district has placed a facilities bond on the November ballot which, if passed, would help fund the construction of a new school to relieve anticipated overcrowding.

Building a Path in Larkspur
The Larkspur Citizens Advisory Committee for the General Plan meets tonight, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at City Hall. The CAC will discuss the development of trails, paths and the "City's multi-modal transportation network."
Housing Choices
Larkspur's Planning Commission meets Tuesday, 7:30 p.m., to discuss a pair of proposals from home owners. This includes the proposed demolition of a single-family home at 81 Hazel Avenue to allow the property owners to build a new home on the lot.

Cafe Verde
Discussion over the proposed Cafe Verde site on 502 Tamalpais Drive continues during the Corte Madera Planning Commission on Tuesday.
Choices for Seniors
Marin Transit is sponsoring a workshop on transportation for seniors on Wednesday, 9 a.m.-noon at the Margaret Todd Senior Center in Novato. Topics include bus service, volunteer transportation, paratransit and other travel options. Call 899-8290 to reserve a spot.
