ABCs Of Keeping Bees And Chickens
Corte Madera plans a second workshop on the legalities of keeping bees and chickens in residential areas.
It went so well last time that Corte Madera Planning Director Dan Bell scheduled a second workshop for residents regarding regulations for keeping bees and chickens.
The next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 13 in Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.
A crowd overwhelmingly in support of expanding rules for the "backyard" keeping of bees and chickens filled the room on August 9 for the last meeting. The Planning Commission directed staff to draft new regulations regarding the subject.
