Caltrans To Start Work On Highway 1 Today

Expect delays near Stinson beach

Caltrans will be closing portions of state Highway 1 in west Marin County for pavement repairs starting this morning.

Crews will be repaving numerous pavement failures on a stretch of Highway 1 about two miles south of Muir Beach, according to Caltrans.

A second portion of roadway south of Panoramic Highway to Calle Del Arroyo will also be undergoing repairs.

One-way traffic will be in place at the construction sites Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The work is expected to take about two weeks.

Drivers are advised to expect some delays and allow for additional driving time.
