Marin Leaders Invite Students To 2024 Youth Town Hall
High schoolers and college students will have a chance this month to meet with mayors, council members and other local leaders.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Youth Town Hall will return to Marin County this month for the second year running, welcoming students down to the Board of Supervisors chamber in San Rafael to learn about civics and government directly from local leaders.
According to the Elections Department, this year's panelists and attendees include mayors, vice mayors and council members from 11 municipalities, including Fairfax, Corte Madera, Larkspur, Mill Valley, Novato, San Anselmo and San Rafael.
The schedule includes a discussion and Q&A session and other chances to mingle with other civic-minded young people.

According to the county, the Youth Town Hall was created by students involved in the Student Elections Ambassador Program, which aims to improve youth voter turnout in Marin and register new and future voters.
High schoolers and college students interested in attending the event can RSVP online in English or Spanish.
