LCMSD Board Appoints New Trustee: Amir Movafaghi
Last night the LCMSD Board appointed Amir Movafaghi as the next Trustee to replace Jill Sellers who has resigned effective March 9, 2022. Thank you Jill for your leadership and dedication to the students, staff, and greater LCMSD community! Amir will be sworn in on March 9, 2022 at the regularly scheduled meeting. With a current 3rd grader at Neil Cummins and two future Hawks, Amir joins the Board with experience volunteering in LCMSD schools, serving on the Larkspur Library Board, and a background in leadership, finance, and technology. Amir is currently the CEO of Mixpanel, was the CFO of Spiceworks, and held leadership positions at Twitter during their significant growth period. Congratulations Amir!
