Fatal Livermore Crash: New Info Released
Livermore police have released preliminary details about the two fatal crash victims.

LIVERMORE, CA — A 23-year-old and a 49-year-old are dead following a head-on vehicle collision in Livermore Monday morning, according to the Livermore Police Department.
At around 5:55 a.m., the Livermore Police Department received reports of a major injury collision on Isabel Avenue between Vallecitos Road and Kalthoff Common, according to LPD spokesperson Azenith Smith. A preliminary investigation shows that a Dodge Ram pickup truck ended up in the southbound lane with a Honda, where they collided. Investigators are still determining exactly how the collision occurred.
The two adult drivers in each vehicle died at the scene, LPD said. The victims have been identified as a 49-year-old man from Tracy and a 23-year-old man from Manteca.

The Alameda County Coroner's Bureau will release the names of the deceased once their families have been notified.
The roadway around Isabel Avenue was closed until about 1 p.m. Monday as crews investigated and cleared the scene.
