Atmospheric River In Livermore: What To Know
The rain wasn't as bad as predicted, but more is on the way.
LIVERMORE, CA — An atmospheric river has arrived in Livermore Wednesday, bringing rains of up to 2-3 inches through Thursday. Wind gusts are expected to reach up to 40 mph.
The city is under a National Weather Service Flood Watch until 4 a.m. Friday and a Wind Advisory until 4 a.m. Friday. Residents are advised to take some time to remove leaves from their yard and around storm drains, put yard waste in the organics bin, avoid driving if possible, keep cars fueled, keep cell phones charged, have an emergency supply kit ready, secure items that can blow around, and keep garbage cans and cars at least one foot from the curb to avoid blocking water flow.

PG&E has not reported any major outages in the Tri-Valley Wednesday. Patch has reached out to the city to see if any major incidents have been reported in Livermore, but so far none have been publicly reported.
Sandbags are available at four locations, with limits of six bags per household everywhere except Zone 7 Water Agency, where the limit is ten. Residents need to bring their own shovels.
