Big-Rig Crashed Closed Lanes On I-580 Near Dublin, Pleasanton Tuesday

The collision snarled the evening commute traffic.

DUBLIN, CA — Emergency personnel worked to clear a three-vehicle collision involving a big-rig that blocked all lanes of eastbound Interstate Highway 580 near Dublin and Pleasanton for Tuesday evening's commute. The crash occurred around 4 p.m. on Highway 580 west of Foothill Road, Alameda County fire officials said.

Three ambulances were called to the scene, but it's not yet clear how many people are injured. As of 5 p.m., eastbound Highway 580 was gridlocked, according to fire officials.
