Boy Breaks Leg Crashing Bike Into Postal Service Truck on Olivina

A 13-year-old boy broke his leg Thursday when he crashed his bicycle into a U.S. Postal Service Truck on Olivina Avenue.

According to Livermore Police the boy rode his bike from the sidewalk into the street and into the truck's path near James Street around 2 p.m. 

He was not wearing a helmet. He was taken by helicopter to a hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.
