Car Overturns On I-580: Injuries Reported; Traffic Snarled

LIVERMORE, CA — Traffic on westbound Interstate Highway 580 was snarled Tuesday morning after a crash involving an overturned car shut down the left and center lanes.

Injuries were reported in the crash, which occurred east of N. Vasco Road in Livermore, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Traffic was backed up through the Altamont Pass. CHP advised drivers to expect delays.
