Choking Baby In Livermore Saved By Off-Duty Officer: Report

The woman was standing on the side of the road, clutching her baby, in distress, the officer told KRON.

LIVERMORE, CA — An off-duty San Pablo police officer saved a choking baby in Livermore, KRON reported.

Officer Gilbert Troche told the station that he and his family were heading home when they saw a woman, crying hysterically, on the side of the road with her baby. He soon realized the baby was choking, turned the baby over and worked with the mother to clear the baby's airway.
