LIVERMORE, CA — Construction will begin Friday on the PACE Tri-Valley Center, a senior healthcare and social services center at 2441 Constitution Drive in Livermore.
The PACE (Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) center, run by the Center for Elders’ Independence, will feature a recreational and social center, rehab gym, primary care health clinic, serving kitchen, patio, and administrative offices. It is expected to create 40 new job opportunities, including positions for nurses, physicians, therapists, drivers, care aides, social workers, activity specialists, and care assistants.
The CEI PACE model of care has been replicated around the country in more than 270 centers in 32 states and the District of Columbia.
