Coroner IDs Livermore Resident Killed In Motorcycle Crash
Authorities released the name of a 47-year-old Livermore resident killed last week after colliding with a car near Portola Avenue.
LIVERMORE, CA —The Alameda County Coroner's Bureau identified the victim of a deadly collision in Livermore on Oct. 27.
Richard Simion Sajor Jr., a 47-year-old Livermore resident, was traveling westbound on Portola Avenue on his motorcycle when he collided with a car driving southbound on Paseo Laguna Seco, according to the Livermore Police Department. He was pronounced dead on the scene shortly after.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.

"Born and raised in California, Richard was a proud resident of Livermore and a man known for his vibrant spirit, love of adventure, and deep loyalty to those he held dear," reads an obituary. "His passion for motorcycles reflected his free-spirited nature and appreciation for life’s journey. He approached each day with courage, curiosity, and a heart full of generosity.
"Richard’s presence was magnetic—his laughter infectious, his kindness unwavering. He was a devoted son, a loyal friend, and a valued member of his community. Whether sharing stories, lending a helping hand, or simply being there when needed, Richard made a lasting impact on everyone he met. Though his life was cut short far too soon, Richard leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories."
