Dust Bowl Brewing Opens Livermore Location

LIVERMORE, CA — Celebrated craft brewery Dust Bowl Brewing Company opened a new taproom at the Shops at Livermore on June 28, the company announced. The Turlock-based brewery was named the 2022 Brewery of the Year by the California State Fair Commercial Craft Beer Competition, and is known for brands like Hops of Wrath IPA, Therapist Imperial IPA and Taco Truck Lager. It currently has locations in Turlock, Monterey and Elk Grove.

“We are excited to open our latest taproom in the East Bay,” Dust Bowl Brewing Company Founder and Owner Brett Tate said in a statement. “Livermore has a thriving craft beer community, which we are eager to join. Our location near the San Francisco Premium Outlets provides us great proximity to a busy retail area and easy access from the 580 corridor. We’ve been distributing our beer to the Bay Area since 2015, so we have solid brand awareness in the region. The taproom provides yet another way to engage and experience our brand.”

The Livermore taproom is located in a 3,500 square-foot location on 3034 W. Jack London Boulevard in the Shops at Livermore. The inside offers traditional bar seating, couches, rail bars, lounge settings and oversized banquette. The bar also offers a back-to-back 30 tap tower, two taps for smoothie beers, to-go packaged beer, growlers, t-shirts, hats, glassware and more.

The 6,500 square-foot outdoor area offers a covered patio, picnic tables, firepits, and a corn hole on a turf area. Food will be provided by local food truck Wedo’s Tacos.

Food is provided by Hazy Barbecue Livermore Pit Stop, the second location of a Danville restaurant that was recognized by Diablo Magazine as the Best Barbecue in the East Bay in 2020 and 2022.

The taproom is located at 3034 W. Jack London Boulevard. It is open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM, Friday and Saturday 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM. LIve music is offered on Thursdays from July through September from 6-9 p.m.
