Education Officials Release High School Exit Exam Results
Nearly 9 out of every 10 Livermore 10th graders tested passed the mandatory exam.
The California Department of Education on Wednesday released its latest results of the high school exit exam.
In the , approximately 86 percent of sophomores tested this year passed the California High School Exit Exam:
- 86 percent of students tested passed the math portion of the test. (87 percent in 2010)
- 87 percent of students tested passed the English portion of the test (87 percent in 2010)
Students must pass the exit exam by 12th grade in order to earn a high school diploma.
