Family Held Hostage in Armed Home Invasion
Police searching for suspects in morning robbery.

Police are searching for armed robbers who kicked in a front door of a home Friday morning and held a family hostage while they gathered up valuables, said Livermore police officer Matthew Ishmael.
At 9 a.m., officers responded to a report of an armed home invasion in the 200 block of Nadine Street. The Pleasanton and Dublin Police Departments helped in the search of the immediate neighborhood near .
"The family was told to lay on the ground and asked for jewelry and other monetary items," Ishmael said. "The suspects then left out of the front door."

The family, two adults and one juvenile, was not injured during the robbery.
Authorities were unable to locate any suspects and called off the search at 10:40 a.m.

"We believe they fled in a vehicle prior to us responding to the call," Ishmael said.
Police do not have any descriptions of the suspects. They say there are two to three people responsible for the crime.
The case is under investigation and has been turned over to Livermore Police detectives.
