Firefighters Extinguish Apache Street House Fire

Firefighters on Wednesday afternoon put out a single-story house blaze on Apache Street.

The fire was extinguished at 11:55 a.m., Battalion Chief Jack Neiman Kimel said.

There was no one home during the blaze, and the cause is under investigation, Neiman Kimel said.

The fire was contained to a front room and kitchen.

No injuries were reported.
