Five For Fighting, Bobby McFerrin, Amy Sedaris Coming To The Bankhead

Those are just a few of the acts coming to Livermore this month.

LIVERMORE, CA — Don’t worry, be happy: a great run of shows are coming this month at the Bankhead.

On Tuesday, realtor and community activist Mony Nop will present “Elvis in Cambodia,” a documentary about the famous Cambodian singer and activist Sinn Sisamouth, and his disappearance during the genocide of the 1970s. See here for tickets.

On Sept. 15, Five For Fighting, singer-songwriter Vladimir Ondrasik (better known as Five For Fighting) will perform. He is best known for his Top 40 hits “Superman (It’s Not Easy)” and “100 Years.” The music will be accompanied by a string quartet. See here for tickets.

The following afternoon, jazz singer-songwriter Bobby McFerrin, best known for his number 1 hit and 1988 Grammy Song of the Year “Don’t Worry, Be Happy,” will perform. See here for tickets.

On Sept. 22, Amy Sedaris, an actress, comedian and writer who is the sister of memoirist David Sedaris, will participate in a moderated conversation with NBC Bay Area anchor Jessica Aguirre. See here for tickets.
